·        Saturday, November 19, 3pm. – RR44 has been invited to The Burley Oak Brewing Company for a private tour and tasting.  Burley Oak is the new micro brewery located in Berlin @ 10016 Old Ocean City Blvd.  The new Tap Room that serves the beers brewed on premises is becoming the "In" spot for social gatherings in and around Berlin.  Bryan, the owner and Brew Master, will give us a personal tour of the brewery, explaining how the beer is made and what to look for in the different styles they brew.  We will then have an opportunity to sample several of the beers.  The $10/pp cost includes a "flight" of 3, OR your choice of a pint of the beers currently on tap, as well as a selection of light snacks.  You may, of course, purchase additional pints of your favorite brew.  There is no food served here, so I will be bringing in some snacks, but you can also order pizza delivered to the Tap Room, or go into downtown Berlin for dinner after the tasting.  We will all meet at the Brewery.  There will be a sign up sheet at our Nov. meeting and will collect money then.  If you can let Gary know before the meeting, he will add you to the list and collect the money at the meeting.  This will be a fun time and an opportunity to sample some really good beer.  Call Gary if you have any questions.  443-618-9972

·        From our President:  We are looking for additional items for the Chinese Auction at our Christmas Party on Dec. 17th.  This is the main fundraiser for the RR44 Penguin Swim Team to raise money for Atlantic General Hospital.  Direct money donations are also appreciated, and
can be made online by going to the web site HERE.  You can donate to a particular team member or to the RR44 Team.
Please see if you can get donations from the local establishments you frequent and bring them to the Nov. or Dec. meeting.  Items for the silent auction can be gift certificates, bottles of wine or liquor, golf items, art work, etc.  Anything you would buy chances to win.  Thanks, Gary.
·        Roost Apparel for Sale!  Give your honey a new t-shirt or hoodie for Xmas!  See the list attached!  New stuff will be coming out in 2012, but we need to sell this stuff first.  Let Maggie Miller know if you want anything on this list and she will bring it to the meeting on Thursday or make arrangements to get it to you.  Email at millermaggie@mchsi.com.

Ravens Poop
·        The Ravens defense allowed two fourth quarter touchdowns but the offense drove 92 yards in the last 2:25 of the game and, with a touchdown throw from Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith, beat the hated Steelers 23-20, sweeping them for the season.  Next up, Ravens @ Seattle, Sunday, 4:05 pm.
·        Good news notes and nuggets from Sarah Ellison’s Blog here.  It’s getting to the point where I can hardly stand ESPN, but I do go Jamison Hensley’s Blog here to stay up to date with all of the AFC North news.
