Do Babies Hurt QB Play?

Have your first baby, go to the Super Bowl...or something like that...

Tom Brady’s son born one month before 2007 season

Drew Brees’ first child born in January 2009
Result:
With eight months to get acclimated, Brees made the Pro Bowl, led the Saints to their first Super Bowl title
Eli Manning’s first child born in March 2011
Result
: Threw a career-high 4,933 passing yards last season, led team to his second Lombardi Trophy

And in other news...

Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis will be a part of the opener for Sunday Night Football on NBC, the program announced on its Facebook page yesterday.

Heading into the 17th year of his career, Lewis is still one of the most recognized faces in the NFL.
The Ravens will be featured at least twice on SNF this season – first in Week 3 vs. the New England Patriots and then in Week 11 at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field.

What Lewis will be featured doing and/or saying is unclear. He had a few moments in last year’s opener with Faith Hill, who sang, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.”
