Local Poop
This week (May 13–19, 2026) in Ocean City, MD, is a relatively quiet period after major early-May events like Cruisin’ Ocean City (which ended May 3) and before bigger ones like Jeep Week (late May) or the Air Show (mid-June). It’s a good time for beach relaxation, boardwalk strolls, and smaller recurring or local happenings.
Recurring & Notable Events This Week
Spring Family Movie Nights in the Park (Fridays, including May 15): Free family-friendly movies at Bayside Park at 3rd Street. Runs weekly through May 22.
Karaoke Fridays with DJ Donnie (May 15): Evening fun, likely at a local venue.
Concert in the Park (e.g., May 14 with Greenback Pack at Cypress Park): Check for free live music in local parks.
Free Artist Talk with Carly Whittington (May 15 at Coffee Beanery): Arts and culture event.
Other weekly activities often include live music at spots like Seacrets (nightly DJs, bands, and parties most evenings—check their calendar for specifics like DJ sets, bands such as Stealing Savanah, My Hero Zero, etc.), boardwalk performances, and casual beach vibes.
Berlin Farmers Market (nearby, May 17) is another option for fresh produce and local goods.
Weather Outlook
Expect typical mid-May conditions: highs in the mid-60s to low 70s°F (around 17–22°C), lows in the 50s°F. Some chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms possible mid-week, but plenty of beach time should be available. Pack layers and check a daily forecast.
General Tips & Things to Do
Beach & Boardwalk: Prime time for walks, biking, mini-golf, arcades, and seafood. Water temps are still cool but improving.
Dining: Look for any lingering Restaurant Week specials (if extended) or fresh catches at spots along the water.
Other: Fishing, biking the boardwalk, or catching a show at the Performing Arts Center if anything’s scheduled.

Funny Poop
A man came home from work one day to find his wife sitting on the front porch with her bags packed. He asked her where she was going and she replied "I'm going to Las Vegas."
He questioned her as to why she was going and she told him "I just found out that I can make $400.00 a night doing what I give you for free".
He pondered that then went into the house and packed his bags and returned to the porch and with his wife. She said "And just where do you think you're going?"
"I'm going too!" he replied.
"Why?" She asked.
"I want to see how you are going to live on $800.00 a year"!
Etcetera
Got Poop? Let me know! I’m going to try to get this out every Wednesday so if you get it to me by Tuesday, I’ll try to include it. Your input is appreciated.
