Greetings to all..

 

A reminder that our meetings is this Thursday at the American Legion…meeting time is 7:30 …come early for food and drink..kitchen closes at 8:00

 

If you can remember..please bring a bag of can goods and non- perishable items so we can donate to our local food bank…

 

Also on that note, this will be my last meeting as the President of Ocean City Roost #44…it has been an honor and pleasure serving as your President..

 

That is all I have…so let’s see if we can keep this 2022 season alive with a victory in Cincinnati…

Membership:

Membership rosters have been updated and we have 130 current paid members for 2022. 

 

I will begin collecting 2023 dues at the February meeting.

 

Wellness:

·       Please contact Carol Munroe at carol.munroe@hotmail.com if you know of a Roost member in need of a message of encouragement or a sympathy card for a family member.

 

Apparel:

Entertainment:

·       Any ideas for the upcoming year will be discussed at our Jan meeting.  Let's think of some fun things to do as a Roost!

·       Also, we could use some help on the committee.

 

House:

Just a reminder (and for anyone who does not know) that our permanent meeting host American Legion Post 166 has invited our Roost and friends to attend every Sunday afternoon Raven's game in our meeting room with the big screen and reserved seating up front.  Game fare specials are available at a served food bar that varies weekly along with their regular kitchen menu items delivered to your table.  The bar is open just like our meetings.  Hard to get better seats than this!

AGH Penguin Swim:

Thanks to everyone who helped the OC Ravens Roost 44 Penguin Swim Team raise over $9,400 for our local hospital!!

 

Thanks to your help, the TEAM came in FIRST PLACE  in the "Community Group or Organization" category.  We also want to thank all of those who came out to cheer us on!  A good time was had by all.  Please see the attached Thank You ad that will appear in the local papers sometime in the next 2 weeks.  Be sure to patronize the local businesses that contributed to our success.
