Duckaneer
Pirate Ship - August 26th, we only have 17 people signed up so far. We have to give
a deposit of $300.00 now to reserve the boat.
Please contact Donna at 410-627-7697 if you want to go. Anyone can attend, bring your friends! We need at least 30 people and cost will be
$30 pp. If we get more people, the cost
will be less. Boat leaves at 6:30pm (
please arrive by 6pm) and returns at 8:30.
There is a bar onboard.

West trip, 10/2 – 10/6 (some folks staying until 10/7) please let Donna know
if you want to go. Price is approx $1100
at Truman Hotel, parking $20 per day, breakfast is included.

Annual
RR 44 picnic July 12th 12pm to 5pm. Cost is
$15 per Roost member includes 3 drink tickets, $20 for spouse or significant
other, no drink tickets, kids $10. Please
contact Donna if you still want to come. I need to have a complete count by
TODAY so I know how much food to buy.
Please don't just show up the day of the picnic if you aren't signed up.

Our
permanent meeting host is the American Legion Post 166 located at Coastal Hwy
and 23rd
Street. Roost members please enter through the
handicap door on the 23rd street north side.
Be
sure to sign in at the table at the door.
The
general membership meeting starts promptly at 7:30. There may be some committee
meetings
going on before that. However, members
are invited and encouraged to arrive as
early
as 6:00 to enjoy drinks and food specials
The Post kitchen stays open until 7:30 on
our
meeting nights to accommodate us. This
is a great time to enjoy the facility and engage
with
other members. The Post accepts cash
only.
Members
should be aware that it is sometimes necessary to change the meeting date
and/or
time
for various reasons. Next year 2025 has
more than normal:

Game
Bus:
We are trying again next season to get a game bus to Ravens
home games!
I have been in contact with several bus companies that have
smaller vehicles (14-24 passengers) and working on pricing.
Unfortunately we will not be able to get “group tickets”. Individual
tickets are on sale now.
Anyone that is interested in a round trip ride to Ravens
games or knows of someone, even outside the Roost, please let me know!

Thursday thru Sunday – The Ocean
City Tuna Tournament - Entering our 38th anniversary in 2025, the Ocean City
Tuna Tournament has become the world’s largest tuna tournament with a record
payout that has eclipsed $1,000,000 in each of the last two years. Boats of all
sizes from ports throughout the East Coast travel to Ocean City, Maryland to
fish this event, featuring over 100 participating boats in three of the last
four tournaments.
The three-day event is full of anticipation, excitement, and
fun for all. While spectators wait for the scales to open, they can enjoy cold
cocktails and delicious food at our on-site restaurant, Micky Fins Bar &
Grill. Local vendors selling everything from boats and tackle to jewelry are on
display daily. After the scales have closed, the tournament provides dinner and
