Good of the Roost:

Ravens Rap:

With the news that the Ravens have lost yet another receiver, after our most recent offensive flop, I thought I’d put things into proper perspective. When you look @ the Ravens first Super Bowl team, they went five games without scoring a touchdown. Somehow the Ravens amazingly won three of those five games. How did they accomplish that feat, the same way they will continue , with great defense, solid special-teams and a tough running game during this cold stretch.

All is not lost offensively, the Ravens were able to pick up Sammy Watkins who was with the team last year & had very similar numbers to Duverney this year. The Ravens also have 3 excellent receiving Tight Ends who are not being utilized to their fullest! The Ravens running game is finally rounding into form as Dobbins, Edwards & Stanley’s health continues to improve.

Enjoy the Holiday Season , it was great to see you all at the Christmas Party, Pro Bowl Announcements should be made tonight on the NFL Channel & ESPN. Put an extra log on the fire & cheer our Ravens onto victory, Sunday @ 1:00 vs the Falcons. I have the Ravens continuing to play Great Defense, Special Teams, & ramming the ball down the field, coming away with a hard fought 16-3 Victory!

Merry Christmas, Raven’s Steve

Funny Poop

An elderly couple is vacationing in the West.  Sam always wanted a pair of authentic cowboy boots.  Seeing some on sale one day, he buys them, wears them home, walking proudly.  He walks into their room and says to his wife, "Notice anything different, Bessie?"

Bessie looks him over. "Nope."

Sam says excitedly, "Come on, Bessie, take a good look.  Notice anything different about me?"

Bessie looks again. "Nope."

Frustrated, Sam storms off into the bathroom, undresses, and walks back into the room completely naked except for the boots.  Again he asks, a little louder this time, "Notice anything different?"

Bessie looks up and down and says, "Sam, what's different?  It was hanging down yesterday, it's hanging down today and it will be hanging down tomorrow!"

Furious, Sam yells, "And do you know why its hanging down, Bessie?  It's hanging down because it's looking at my new boots!"

Bessie replies, "Should'a bought a hat, Sam!  Should’a bought a hat!"

Later that day when he returned from lunch, he found that someone had taped a note to the sign that said. "Your wife called, she wants her sign back!"
