Ravens Poop
  • Good daily dose of Ravens news notes and nuggets here. It’s getting to the point where I can hardly stand ESPN, but I do go Jamison Hensley’s Blog here to stay up to date with all of the AFC North news.

Local Poop
  • Friday thru Sunday - East Coast Commercial Fishermen's & Aquaculture Trade Expo | Mid-Atlantic Region, Convention Center.  The only Commercial Fishing Expo in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Seminars, Fishermen Gear, Equipment and more. Hours: Friday 11:00 am - 6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  For more information, please visit www.marylandwatermen.com.
  • Saturday & Sunday - Nautical & Wildlife Art Festival and Craft Show, Convention Center.  Show Hours: Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10am-3pm.  One of the most beautiful ways to begin 2014 will be a leisurely walk through the 29th Annual Nautical & Wildlife Art Festival. Enjoy the many carvings, drawings, and paintings of the seabirds you watch during the summer months.  Choose some pieces to bring a touch of the beach to your home.  Because an oceanscape has more than seabirds, the festival also includes media featuring the other wildlife that make the beaches and waters their home. And then there are the watercraft…Enjoy the images of the boats, ships, and lonely docks that are the soul of the Eastern Shore – of Delmarva. Admission.
  • Saturday, January 18 - Polish Night @ the Knights of Columbus, 9901 Coastal Highway.  Golabki (beef stuffed cabbage), Pierogi (cheese and potato ‘ravioli’), Kielbasa (fresh smoked sausage), Kapusta (sauerkraut), Fresh Rye and Grain Breads, Dessert (typical Polish confection), & coffee.  $15.00 per person; $9.00 for children (under 12).  Cash bar available.  Two seatings: 5:00 & 6:30 pm.  For reservations call 410.524.7994.

Baltimore Ravens, let’s go
And put that ball across the line
So fly with talons spread wide
Go in and strike with Ravens pride
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Ravens dark wings take flight
Dive in and show them your might
For Baltimore and Maryland
You will fly on to victory
