·         The Orioles have signed a new radio deal with WBAL in Baltimore.  Maybe we’ll finally get a decent affiliate here at the beach!

Local Poop

·        Friday thru Sunday - Ward World Carving Competition & Art Festival - Virtually Modified, Roland E. Powell Convention Center.  Annual Ward World Championship, Wildfowl Carving Competition and Art Festival!

The World Championship is an international event where carvers, collectors, and visitors convene at the end of each April in Ocean City, MD.  From highly decorative works of art to functional hunting decoys, about 1200 different wildfowl carvings representing more than 150 species from around the world  can be viewed at the premiere, most prestigious competition in the world.

The Ward Foundation, the non-profit that operates the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University, and hosts the historic Ward World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition & Art Festival, has made the decision to hold a modified, three-day event — April 22-24, 2022 — in lieu of the regular in-person event at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, MD.  Virtual modification of the competition will resemble the 2021 virtual event, with several exciting new components and competition categories, in addition to the return of live-streamed portions of judging.

Funny Poop

·        The CEO of Sherwin Williams Paints has died of hypothermia while trekking across Antarctica.  Paramedics said he could have used another coat.

·        I phoned 911 the other day.  “What’s your emergency?’ they asked.

I said “Two girls are fighting over me!”

“Okay”, she paused, “So what’s the problem?”

“The ugly one is winning!”

·         Got Poop?  Let me know!  I’m going to try to get this out every Wednesday so if you get it to me by Tuesday, I’ll try to include it.  Your input is appreciated.

Baltimore Ravens, let’s go

And put that ball across the line

So, fly with talons spread wide

Go in and strike with Ravens pride

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Ravens dark wings take flight

Dive in and show them your might

For Baltimore and Maryland

You will fly on to victory
