Greetings to all…

 

Picnic is this coming Sunday..reminder the location is at the WhiteHorse Park in Ocean Pines..11:00 till 5:00..We can always use volunteers to help set up around 10:30

 

Does anyone have a Corn Hole set that they can bring to the picnic?

·         Summer Picnic:

o   WHEN: Sunday,July 17th 

o   WHERE:  White Horse Park. 

o   TIME:  11:00-4:00 set up at 10:00 am. 

o   WHAT: hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, drinks, corn, tomatoes 

o   Picnic sign up sheet will be at the sign in table at this months meeting. (this Thursday)

o   We will be collecting $10 per member $15 per non member. 

o   Check is preferred made out to Ravens Roost #44. We need volunteers for set up, clean up, help in buying ice, drinks, food, paper products  etc… let me know if you are available to help.

o   Last day to get game cards for the full 18-week season is September 7

o   Late ticket purchase deadline is October 30 (not eligible to win for any prior weeks)

o   We will have at least one guaranteed winner each week – It could be you!!!!

o   Prizes are awarded each week to the highest 15 game cards that score the most points:

§  First place - $400

§  Second Place - $100

§  Third place - $50

§  Next 12 Runner ups - $20

·         Tonight - Free Movies on the Beach in Ocean City MD, OC Events.  Enjoy free movies on the beach at 118th St. in Ocean City Maryland every Wednesday from June 2 to August 25.  Each week, a general audience movie is presented free of charge on our 16 foot projector.  Bring a beach chair, blanket & snacks and enjoy the night beside the ocean.  Movie starts around 8:30 p.m. For more information, call 410-250-0125.

·         Tomorrow - Sunset Park Party Nights - Free Concerts, Sunset Park.  Enjoy free concerts in Ocean City Maryland in Sunset Park every Thursday in July and August from 7pm - 9pm.

Sunset Park Party Nights provides a perfect outdoor setting overlooking the bay in Ocean City MD.  Bring a chair and watch the sunset as you listen to great live music.  Sunset Park is located along South Division Street between Philadelphia Avenue and the Bay, next to the US Coast Guard Station in downtown Ocean City MD.

All concert admissions and parking are free and open to the public.  Beverages, including beer, are available for purchase.  Please bring your own chair!

This event is for all ages.

Funny Poop

·         The dentist pulls out a Novocain needle to give the man a shot, so he can extract the man's tooth. 'No way! No needles. I hate needles' the patient said.

The dentist starts to hook up the nitrous oxide and the man objects ‘I can't do the gas thing.  The thought of having the gas mask on is suffocating to me!’

The dentist then asks the patient if he has any objection to taking a pill.  'No objection,' the patient says. 'I'm fine with pills.'

The dentist then returns and says, Here's a Viagra tablet.'

The patient says, 'Wow! I didn't know Viagra worked as a pain killer!'

‘It doesn't' said the dentist, 'but it's going to give you something to hold on to when I pull your tooth.’
