A man woke up to find a gorilla in his backyard tree. He phoned the nearest S.P.C.A.
The service man arrived with a stick, a Chihuahua, a pair of handcuffs, and a shotgun. "Now listen carefully," he told the homeowner. "I'm going to climb the tree and poke the gorilla with this stick until he falls to the ground.
The Chihuahua has been trained to go straight for his private parts. When the gorilla crosses his hands to protect himself, you slap the handcuffs on him."
"Got it! But what's the shotgun for?" asked the homeowner.
"If I fall out of the tree before the gorilla," the service man said, "Shoot the Chihuahua!"

The Greene Turtle is 35!
The Original Greene Turtle Hosts Ribbon Cutting & 35th Anniversary Party
Ocean City, MD - On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, The Original Greene Turtle and the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 4pm. The Turtle is hosting its 35th Anniversary Party from 3pm-close. They’re being held at the original location of The Greene Turtle on the corner of 116th St. & Coastal Hwy, in Ocean City, MD.
Steve Pappas, owner of The Original Greene Turtle, members of the O.C. Chamber, various elected officials & dignitaries, along with employees, friends, patrons & family will be standing by as the ribbon is cut to celebrate the 35th anniversary. This once small tavern has operated out of this location on the corner of Jamestown Road for the last 35 years. It has expanded several times and is a perfect destination for everyone in the family. The Anniversary Party officially starts at 3pm, with DJ Batman at ‘the mic’ until 6pm, DJ Rupe 6-9pm, DJ Blazin Hott 9pm-2am. There will be complimentary food from 3-6pm, various drink specials and Turtle Trivia with prizes from the Greene Turtle Apparel Shops.
The Turtle opened in 1976 and was bought by Steve Pappas & Tommy Dickerson in 1980. They worked for the original owners who asked them to purchase it. This location at 116th Street is now referred to as “The Original Greene Turtle” or “Greene Turtle, North Ocean City”. This is because in 2003, The Greene Turtle, after having 5 locations owned by Steve & Tommy and 2 other friends, Mike Sanford & Billy Packo, established its franchise company. The Greene Turtle Franchising Corp. now has 28 operating locations in markets across Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Delaware. Combining comfort food, a casual atmosphere and a sports bar theme marked by big screen TVs broadcasting local and national events, “The Turtle” has become a popular year-round destination for families and friends of all ages.
Members of the community who are interested in learning more about The Original Greene Turtle OCMD are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Eileen Abeel at 410-723-2120. In addition, they can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/originalgreeneturtle

· A man was driving along a freeway when he noticed a chicken running alongside his car.
He was amazed to see the chicken keeping up with him, as he was doing 50 m.p.h. He accelerated to 60, and the chicken stayed right next to him. He sped up to 75 m.p.h., and the chicken passed him.
The man noticed that the chicken had three legs. He followed the chicken down a road and ended up at a farm. He got out of his car and saw that all the chickens had three legs. He asked the farmer, "What's up with these chickens?"
The farmer said "Well, everybody likes chicken legs, so I bred a three-legged bird. I'm going to be a millionaire."
The man asked him how they tasted. The farmer said, "Don't know, haven't caught one yet."

· STUFF YOU GOTTA KNOW BEFORE YOU LEAVE
1. No flight ever leaves on time unless you are running late and need the delay to make the flight.
2. If you are running late for a flight, it will depart from the farthest gate within the terminal.
3. If you arrive very early for a flight, it inevitably will be delayed.
4. Flights never leave from Gate #1 at any terminal in the world.
5. If you must work on your flight, you will experience turbulence as soon as you touch pen to paper.
6. If you are assigned a middle seat, you can determine who has the seats on the aisle and the window while you are still in the boarding area. Just look for the two largest passengers.
7. Only passengers seated in window seats ever have to get up to go to the lavatory.
8. The crying baby on board your flight is always seated next to you.
9. The best-looking woman on your flight is never seated next to you.
10. The less carry-on luggage space available on an aircraft, the more carry-on luggage passengers will bring aboard.

Baltimore Ravens, let’s go
And put that ball across the line
So fly with talons spread wide
Go in and strike with Ravens pride
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Ravens dark wings take flight
Dive in and show them your might
For Baltimore and Maryland
You will fly on to victory
