o   10/16 Crab Feast

o   12/18 Roost Christmas Party

·        Membership: Membership roles have been updated and I’m pleased to announce we have 135 members.  Thanks to all!

Applications for membership continue to be received, and introductions/votes will be made at the October meeting.

·        Wellness: Please contact Carol Munroe at carol.munroe@hotmail.com if you know of a Roost member in need of a message of encouragement or a sympathy card for a family member.

·        Entertainment:

o   Road Trip: The Road Trip is sold out and as of now, everything looks good for the trip to proceed.  As we have all learned this past year however, things can change depending on how the COVID-19 issues develop.  For those that are going on the trip, be sure to bring a couple masks.  The stadium, hotel, and other public places may require them.  If there is any change to the plans, I will let everyone know.

o   Christmas Party 12/18/21: No money is to be paid at this time!  We have assurance that Mio Fratello is capable of meeting all the conditions we desire but the cost has not been finalized.  If the member cost ends up more than last years $40, you may remove your name from the list if you desire.

If you did not complete the forms at the meeting you will need to mail them to Donna as stated on the form or bring them to the October meeting.  Please remember to make ALL the choices including steak temperature and your desired seating group.  Anyone who turned in a previous form, must also complete a new one.  If you do not attend the meeting you should download the form from the Poop attachment and get that to Donna or Ron as required.

There are currently 77 current and potential members signed up to attend.  If we need to have a cutoff due to whatever reason it will be as of the end of the Sept. meeting.  If that happens, the only exceptions will be for the members voted in at that meeting who have not yet signed up.  Obviously, this is because they are not allowed to attend that meeting.

o   Annual Crab Feast: To date, we only have 23 members signed up for the Crab Feast.  There is plenty of room for more people to come!!

Funny Poop

·          A soldier stationed in the South Pacific wrote to his wife in the States to please send him a harmonica to occupy his free time and keep his mind off of the local women. The wife complied and sent the best one she could find, along with several dozen lesson & music books.

Rotated back home, he rushed to their home and thru the front door. "Oh darling" he gushed, "Come here... let me look at you... let me hold you ! Let's have a fine dinner out, then make love all night. I've missed your lovin' so much !" The wife, keeping her distance, said, "All in good time lover. First, let's hear you play that harmonica."

·         There was this gas station in "redneck country" trying to increase its sales, so the owner put up a sign saying "Free Sex with Fill-up."

Soon a "redneck" customer pulled in, filled his tank, and then asked for his free sex.

The owner told him to pick a number from (1) to (10), and if he guessed correctly, he would get his free sex.

The buyer then guessed (8) and the proprietor said, "No, you were close. The number was (7). Sorry, no free sex this time but maybe next time".

Some time thereafter, the same man, along with his buddy this time, pulled in again for a fill-up, and again he asked for his free sex.

The proprietor again gave him the same story and asked him to guess the correct number. The man guessed (2) this time, and the proprietor said, "Sorry, it was (3). You were close but no free sex this time".

As they were driving away, the driver said to his buddy, "I think that game is rigged and he doesn't give away free sex".

The buddy replied, "No, it's not rigged -- my wife won twice last week."

And put that ball across the line

So, fly with talons spread wide

Go in and strike with Ravens pride

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Ravens dark wings take flight

Dive in and show them your might

For Baltimore and Maryland

You will fly on to victory
