Weekly Poop 12/12/17

Roost #44 Poop
·         From the Prez – The next Roost meeting will be Thursday December 14th at OC 360 at the top of the Fenwick Inn at 7:30.  The 20th Anniversary "Scrapbook" will be available for those members who don't  receive one at the Christmas Party on December 9th.  Thanks again to Treasurer Sandy Taras for all her hard work in assembling the 20 year history of the Roost.  We have some surprise photos from over the years in the Scrapbook too!
The Nominating Committee Chair Dennis Faber will announce the nominees for 2018 Officers and Board members at the meeting.  The election for the 2018 Officers and Board of Directors will be held at the January 11th Roost Meeting.  Thanks to Dennis and his Committee Joanne Faber and Rob Carpenter for volunteering for the Nomination Committee.  We need more new members to volunteer for the offices and committees!  Please think about getting involved!
Donations to the 2017 Canned Food Drive for Diakonia will be collected at the December 14th Roost Meeting.  I will have my white Ford pick up truck parked in front of the Fenwick Inn with the bed of the truck open.  Just drop your donations and plastic bags in the back of the truck.
The Council of Raven Roosts' donation of $500 to Roost #44 for Diakonia was presented to the Executive Director of Diakonia in November.

Funny Poop
·         One afternoon this guy drives down a highway to visit a nearby lake and relax.  On his way to the lake, a guy dressed from head to toe in red standing on the side of the highway gestures for him to stop.
The guy rolls down the window and says, "How can I help you?"
"I am the red jerk of the highway.  You got something to eat?"  With a smile in his face, the guy hands a sandwich to the guy in red and drives away.  Not even five minutes later, he comes across another guy.  This guy is dressed fully in yellow, standing on the side and waving for him to stop.
A bit irritated, our guy stops, cranks down the window, and says, "What can I do for you?"
"I am the yellow jerk of the highway.  You got something to drink?"  Hardly managing to smile this time, he hands the guy a can of Coke and stomps on the pedal and takes off again.  In order to make it to the lakeside before sunset, he decides to go faster and not stop no matter what.
To his frustration, he sees another guy on the side of the road, this one dressed in blue and signaling for him to stop.  Reluctantly, our guy decides to stop one last time, rolls down his window, and yells, "Let me guess.  You're the blue jerk of the highway, and just what do YOU want?"
"Driver's license and registration, please."
