Funny Poop

·       A man and his wife were having an argument in bed.  Frustrated with her irrationality, he finally jumped up and took a blanket to the couch.  The next day the wife, feeling bad about what happened, decided to buy her husband a gift, and since he was an avid golfer, she went to the pro shop where he usually played golf.  She talked with the pro and he suggested a putter and he showed her one of his finest.

"How much is it?" she asked.

"$150" he replied.

She felt that was kind of expensive and told him so.

"But it comes with an inscription" he said.

"What kind of inscription?" she asked.

"Whatever you wish" he explained "but one of the old golfers favourites is: NEVER UP, NEVER IN".

"Oh, that will never do!" exclaimed the wife.  "That's what started the argument in the first place!"

And put that ball across the line

So, fly with talons spread wide

Go in and strike with Ravens pride

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Dive in and show them your might

For Baltimore and Maryland

You will fly on to victory

Weekly Poop 3/27/19

Roost #44 Poop
·         From the Prez
St. Paddy's Day Parade was a blast! If you couldn't make it, you really missed a good time.  The crowd was awesome!  Thanks to Susan and Frank and any other volunteers who helped make this year's parade one of the best.  Don't miss it!  It really helps you connect with other Roost members as well as letting all of Ocean City that see that Ravens Roost #44 is a part of the fabric of Ocean City!  Anybody got any photos to share?
The Golf Scholarship Committee will meet on Wednesday, March 27 at the Original Greene Turtle at 5:30.  Come join us to see how you can help in this worthy cause of raising money for college scholarships for graduating seniors at Stephen Decatur High School, Indian River High School and Worcester Prep.  This will be our 22nd Annual Tournament and it will be held on Friday, May 31st at the Ocean Pine Golf Course during the weekend of the Convention.  We have several new members on the Committee, but we are always looking for more!  We will also need volunteers at the Golf Course to help manage the tournament.  Come to the next meeting and check it out!  It’s a worthy cause that directly benefits our community.  Information on our Tournament is available on our website www.ocravensroost44.com as well as the Council of Raven Roost website - www.councilrr.com.
Remember that your Roost Membership card entitles you to a 20% discount on food, beverage & apparel purchases at the Original Greene Turtle. We encourage Roost members and Roost Committees to patronize the Original Greene Turtle. By the way, the Original Greene Turtle is a major sponsor of our College Golf Scholarship Tournament every year and we appreciate their support.
My white Ford pickup truck will be at the next meeting.  The back will be open if you would like to donate plastic bags to Diakonia (local food bank and homeless shelter).  The bags are used to help distribute food contributions to the needy.  Simply put your plastic bags (TIED UP TIGHTLY) in the bed of the truck.  This is a great way to recycle plastic bags for a good cause.

It was brought to my attention that some members may not be aware that the annual dues are now due.  Per the By-Laws: “Each member shall pay to the Membership Chairman the sum of thirty dollars ($30.00) per year no later than the February meeting.  The only exception to this rule being a prospective member who would be accepted into the Roost from the first day of March where dues will be pro-rated.”  Hope this clears things up.

·         Parade – Six members still have their vests from the St. Paddy parade.  Please bring them to the next meeting so we can store them with the rest for the next time we need them.  Thanks!
The Convention Parade will be here before you know it – Saturday, June 1st.  We’d love to have a big turn out, so please save the date!

I will have order forms at the meeting.
The activities list will be forwarded to us later.  Think about playing miniature golf, horseshoes, cornholes, doing a scavenger hunt, and many other activities.  The council will also need help during the convention.  I’ll have those requests at the next meeting, as well.

Funny Poop
·         A farmer and his wife were lying in bed one evening; she was knitting, he was reading the latest issue of Animal Husbandry.  He looks up from the page and says to her, "Did you know that humans are the only species in which the female achieves orgasm?"

She looks at him wistfully, smiles, and replies, "Oh yeah?  Why don't you prove it."

He frowns for a moment, then says, "Okay."

He then gets up and walks out, leaving his wife with a confused look on her face.

About a half an hour later, he returns all tired and sweaty and proclaims, "Well I'm sure the cow and sheep didn't, but the way that pig's always squealing, how can you tell?"
