Weekly Poop June 1, 2016

Roost #44 Poop
  • Dates to Remember:
    • Thursday thru Sunday – Convention weekend! Woo hoo!
    • Friday – WCS Meeting @…
    • June 8 - Next Entertainment Committee meeting June 8th at the Cove Restaurant Bayside at 6PM. All members are welcome, especially new members. We value your ideas and feedback. Meetings are usually about an hour. Some of us stay for eats and drinks.
  • Members please bring plastic or paper shopping bags to the monthly Roost meetings. The bags will be taken to Diakonia by Eric for use in distributing food donations to the community.
  • Dues are past due. Again, it's $30 per member; please make checks out to Ravens Roost #44. Our membership cards are white this year, hoping to make them easier to read when you wear them to every meeting. Hopefully, you still have the plastic holder from last year to use again this year. Mail your dues to me at: 126 Pine Tree Rd., Ocean City, MD 21842. Thanks, Jo Ann.
  • Scholarship - 2016 Scholarship Awardees have been selected. Award presentation will be at the June 9th meeting. Golf Tournament is Friday June 3rd. We can still accept a couple of more teams and are in need of a 4th for the Ken Taras & Lew Welsh team. We are still selling 50/50 Raffle tickets. Drawing June 4th at the convention. We have around $1,200 going to the winner at this time and in all probability will have over $1,500 going to the winner. Since only 500 tickets can be sold, your odds are far greater than the Powerball where it is a 1 in 500 chance to win $7.
We will offer several of our Golf Tournament Auction Items up for bid at out May meeting. Two 9th Row Center Huey Lewis and The News Freeman Stage Concert Tickets. This is a sold-out show for those of you who got to the newsstand too late. Minimum bid is $250 with a Buy it Now Price of $300. For Raven Roost 44 members. If you are bidding, we will give you a number to contact for bidding purposes the day of the auction. A policeman approaches her and says, "Ma'am, are you aware that I could cite you for indecent exposure?"
    She says, "Why, officer?"
"Because your breast is hanging out."
She looks down and says, "OH MY GOODNESS! I left the baby on the bus again!"

Funny Poop
  • One night a man walks into a bar with a pig.  The bartender says to the man "That's a great looking pig, but why does he have a wooden leg?"  So the man says "Let me tell you about this pig.  He is one special pig.  One night my house was on fire and he dragged me to safety.  Saved my life".

The bartender says. "Well, that's great.  But why does he have a wooden leg?"  The man says "Let me tell you about this pig.  He is one special pig.  One time I was out sailing and the boat capsized.  This pig swam me to safety.  Saved my life".

The bartender says "That's really terrific, but why the wooden leg?"  The man says "Let me tell you about this pig.  He is one special pig.  Last week during an earthquake my house collapsed and my pig pulled me out.  Saved my life".

And finally the bartender says "Wow, that is one special pig.  He saved you from a fire, an earthquake and from drowning.  But why does he have a wooden leg?"

The man says "When you have a pig this special you can't eat all of it at once".
  • Father O'Malley has been preaching at his church in Ireland for so long, that he decides to take a vacation.  He has never been married and he is curious as to what an American endures in everyday life.  So, he decides to go to the States before it is too late.

He hops on the plane bound for Nevada.  He arrives in the Airport in Las Vegas.  As he is exiting the plane, someone in the airport runs up to him and exclaims "Elvis!  Oh my God!  It's Elvis!  I knew you weren't dead Elvis!  How have you been?"  Father looks at her and says "Get outta me face. C an't you see I'm not Elvis?  I don't look a thing like Elvis!"

The father moves on to his cab waiting outside.  He hops in his cab and he's a little upset so he tells the cabby "Take me to my hotel and step on it".  The cabby turns and says "Sure thing sir...oh my God!  It's Elvis!  I knew you weren't dead!  I'm your number one fan!  It's so great to see you!"  "Shut up, you imbecile.  I'm not Elvis!  Now turn around and drive!"

So, the cabby speeds up to the hotel.  Father O'Malley gets his things and walks up to the hotel check-in counter.  "Oh my God!  Oh my God!  It's you!" screams the hotel clerk.  "You're back Elvis!  I knew this day would happen.  We saved everything just the way you like it!  Free cheeseburgers, peanut butter and banana fried sandwiches, masseurs, complementary hookers and a full liquor bar!  I'm so glad you're back!"  Father O'Malley looks at the hotel clerk and says "Thank you...thank you very much..."
