From the Prez – At our last meeting on October 19th at the Greene Turtle, the Board approved the House Committee recommendation to move our monthly meetings to OC 360 located at the top of the Fenwick Inn. We have negotiated a 3 month open trial period with 360. They will provide HH pricing before, during and after each meeting. They are offering selected HH appetizers and a separate HH menu strictly for us. In addition, their regular menu is available. You must have your Roost Membership card to get HH prices for food and beverages before and after the meeting. If you have lost your card, see myself, Donna or Ron to verify that you are a member to the 360 staff. But it would be very helpful if all members brought their membership cards with them. I want to again thank Donna Chaplinski and Ron Apperson for all their work on the House Committee.Due to a previously booked engagement at 360, the next Roost meeting will be Thursday November 16th.Roost Crab Feast - We held our Annual Crab Feast at the Shrimp Boat again this year on Saturday October 21st. Great crabs, chicken, hush puppies and corn. A good time was had by all! Thanks to Marian Cicero for another great crab feast!20th Anniversary T shirts, hoodies and long sleeve shirts are being ordered tomorrow. If you have not paid for your order or would like to make an order, contact me TODAY at 410-598-4597 or eric-_waterman@comcast.net. I have several orders from members who have not paid. These orders will not be filled unless I hear from you today. Final orders will be dropped off at the vendor tomorrow (Thursday)!Council News - the Raven Council of Raven Roosts will be holding their annual Bull and Oyster Roast on February 10th at Martin's West in Baltimore. Tickets are $60 per person and a premium open bar has been added this year. Roost #44 traditionally donates two tickets. If you would like to use those tickets, contact me. First come, first served! Also contact me if you would like to purchase additional tickets beyond the two we are donating. At the last Council meeting, donations to a variety of charities were announced. Roost #44 was successful this year in securing a $500.00 donation to Diakonia, our local food bank and homeless shelter. The Council advised that since 2007, Council Roosts have raised over $3.2 MILLION DOLLARS for local charities.

Two elderly women were out driving in a large car. Both could barely see over the dashboard. As they were cruising along they came to an intersection. The stoplight was red but they just went on through. The woman in the passenger seat thought to herself "I must be losing it, I could have sworn we just went through a red light."After a few more minutes they came to another intersection and the light was red again and again they went right though. This time the woman in the passenger seat was almost sure that the light had been red but was really concerned that she was losing it. She was getting nervous and decided to pay very close attention to the road and the next intersection to see what was going on.At the next intersection, sure enough, the light was definitely red and they went right through and she turned to the other woman and said, "Mildred! Did you know we just ran through three red lights in a row! You could have killed us!"Mildred turned to her and said, "Oh, am I driving?"
