- The AGH Penguin Swim website is now up and running. Go to www.aghpenguinswim.org to register. Just click on "join a team", then pick RR44 and follow the directions. Maggie and I are hosting a social at our house on Sunday 11/16 starting at 1pm. Anyone wanting to join the RR44 Penguin Swim Team is welcome. That is the Ravens Bye Week, so no conflict with going to the game or to the Ox. We will have some football food and beer and the 1pm NFL game will be on the TV. We will discuss ideas for individual fundraising and if needed, will help people register on the AGH website. Please let me know if you will be coming so I can be sure to have enough food and beer. Way cheaper than one with a guy's name on it that may not be here next year! Will be available at the November meeting. Taking orders for Purple Roost 44 Hawaiian Shirts: Need 24 to place an order. Cost: $40.00. Will collect money at the November meeting. Taking orders for the Roost 44 zippered sweatshirts in grey or black with the 3 Ravens logos on the back: American flag, Maryland flag and OC flag. Cost $25. - Saturday - The NFL Football 5K Challenge | Formerly Known as the Ravens vs Steelers 5K, The Boardwalk at 27th Street. Formerly known as the Ravens vs Steelers 5K, we have expanded this years race to include all national football league teams. We invite all to come out and support their favorite NFL team by running in their team colors! Race rules will remain the same as past years, you will still need to make a choice, but instead of picking the “Ravens Bar” or the “Steelers Bar” you will simply choose either to support your favorite Sunday football hangout; the “28th St. Pit -n- Pub” or ”Buxy’s Salty Dog Saloon”. The 5 kilometer race will start on the OCMD boardwalk at 27th Street at 9:00 am. The top 25 time scores for each restaurant will be added and the fastest time wins the trophy for their establishment and bragging rights for the 2014-2015 football season.
