Penguin Swim: The RR44 Penguin Swim Team is registered and looking for more Team members! If you are interested in joining the team, give me a call. If you have not done the swim before, it is a lot of fun, we have a hospitality suite for changing, relaxing and having a few drinks, you get to jump in the ocean on New Year Day which few people get to do, and then get in a heated pool to warm up. You only have to get your feet wet to officially do the swim. The goal is to raise money by asking friends, family and associates to donate to Atlantic General Hospital by way of the Penguin Swim. The Penguin Swim Website is up so please register for the swim at www.aghpenguinswim.org and please let me know if you run into ANY problems or have ANY questions about the process. You should receive an email confirmation after registering so please let me know that you’ve received it. We will have a meeting before the Oct. general meeting at 7pm to discuss the Team fundraising efforts. THANK YOU! Gary 443-618-9972.

From Dennis Faber: Joanne and Dennis Faber will be participating in the tunnel experience at the next Ravens game (Oct. 2). We would like to promote Roost 44 as much as possible and will wear our 44 shirts and maybe purple wigs. If anyone has headgear or anything similar with Roost 44 on it that would be visible in the tunnel, we’d be happy to wear it and return it later. If you have something that might work, give either of us a call and send it along with your friends who ride the bus. Joanne cell—443-528-4436; Dennis Cell—443-528-0947; home 410-600-0221.

Bob's barn burned down and his wife, Mary, called the insurance company.Mary told the insurance company, "We had that barn insured for fifty thousand and I want my money."The agent replied, "Whoa there, just a minute, Mary. Insurance doesn't work quite like that. We will ascertain the value of what was insured and provide you with a new one of comparable worth."There was a long pause before Mary replied, "Then I'd like to cancel the policy on my husband."
