Friday, November 4^th - Casino Bus Trip to Harrington. Pickup at Montego Bay at 8:30, and Rose’s Millsboro at 9 am; Return leaving Harrington at 3pm. Cost: $20.00 per person with $15.00 Free Slot pay and $7.00 credit towards luncheon buffet. Please contact Mary Kendall to sign up via phone: 302-236-9617 or email: mary.kendall@merck.com. Members please bring plastic or paper shopping bags to the monthly Roost meetings. The bags will be taken to Diakonia by Eric for use in distributing food donations to the community.
Ticket Exchange:
- I have 2 tickets for sale for the Thursday night game against the Browns. Face value of $135/pp. Sec. 103, Row 32, seats 10 & 11. Bus seats available at $25/pp. Thanks, Gary, 443-618-9972.
- Ken & Sandy will not be attending the Ravens/Redskins game this Sunday and would like to sell both their bus seats and tickets. Their tickets are located in Section 540-Row 10-Seats 11 & 12. The cost of the package is $200. Call Ken at 443.235.3437.

Season Bus: Bus seats for individual games are $45.00. Please contact Mike at 410.251.6821.
Penguin Swim: The RR44 Penguin Swim Team is registered and looking for more Team members! If you are interested in joining the team, give me a call. If you have not done the swim before, it is a lot of fun, we have a hospitality suite for changing, relaxing and having a few drinks, you get to jump in the ocean on New Year Day which few people get to do, and then get in a heated pool to warm up. You only have to get your feet wet to officially do the swim. The goal is to raise money by asking friends, family and associates to donate to Atlantic General Hospital by way of the Penguin Swim. The Penguin Swim Website is up so please register for the swim at www.aghpenguinswim.org and please let me know if you run into ANY problems or have ANY questions about the process. You should receive an email confirmation after registering so please let me know that you’ve received it. We will have a meeting before the Oct. general meeting at 7pm to discuss the Team fundraising efforts. THANK YOU! Gary 443-618-9972.

- Bull Roast tix open to all members and public and that we are only selling 200. We have an advertisement that will be in Friday’s Dispatch. Show your friends, show your family! We are also looking for things we can use for door prizes. And does anyone know a good oyster shucker? We can’t get hold of James who we’ve used in the past. Thanks.
- Anyone wanting to nominate member for member of the year must give, in writing, anyone they want to nominate to a board or member or previous winner. Board and previous members will vote by October's meeting.
- We will be changing our November meeting to 11/3 due to home game on our regular meeting night on 11/10.
Tailgate @ Brandywine - As I mentioned at the Aug. meeting, "Brandywine Senior Living at Fenwick Island" has invited RR44 to enjoy a tailgate party with the residents. The two games we are looking at are Sept. 25^th vs Jaguars and Oct. 23^rd vs The Jets. Please let me know if you would be interested in attending either of these events. Gary, 443-618-9972.

2016 Roost Entertainment Activities

Boardwalk Bike Ride/ Walk – Last ride/walk 2^nd Saturday of October. Meet at 27th Street at 9 AM. Afterwards some of us go to breakfast at the Sahara on Johnny Unitas Way (19th Street). Come join us for breakfast whether you did the Boards or not. Another opportunity to see old friends and make new ones.
Dover Air Museum & Dogfish Brewer Tours Sat. 10/15/16. Dover AFB tour of museum (many planes we can board - including Reagan's AF1) & Dogfish Head Brewpub Tour/Tasting/Lunch. The trip is now sold out. We will take names for a waiting list for possible dropouts by contacting Ron @ ronapperson@msn.com or 302-436-4790. The cost is finalized @ $10 pp as long as it stays sold out. Please bring cash payment to Ron @ RR mtg on 10/13 or at the bus pickup point behind Montego Bay SC on Saturday 10/15. But please call to tell me if you are paying at the bus (no surprises please). The bus leaves at 8:30 am. Remember - no open toed shoes allowed at the museum. You can bring snacks & drinks but please no alcohol.
Bull & Oyster Roast - October 29^th, 2-6 PM at the American Legion on 23rd St. and Coastal Highway. This is our annual fund raising event! So bring your friends and family too. Tickets are $40. The menu includes pit beef, fried oysters, raw oysters, oyster stew, sausage & peppers & onions, sides, dessert, beer and soda. Cash bar. Live music by The Stims. Canned Food Drive - Bring canned goods to November 3^rd Roost meeting for local food bank.

Ravens Poop

The 3-1 Ravens came back but couldn’t hold on, and fell at home to the Raiders by a point, 24-23. Next up, the Ravens stay at home to host Maryland’s other NFL team, as the Redskins travel up the Parkway, Sunday @ 1 pm.

Funny Poop

Joey's teacher sent a note home to his Mother saying, "Joey seems to be a very bright boy, but spends too much of his time thinking about sex and girls."

The Mother wrote back the next day, "If you find a solution, please advise. I have the same problem with his Father."
A six year old comes crying to his Mother because his little sister pulled his hair.

"Don't be angry," the Mother says, "Your little sister doesn't realize that pulling hair hurts."

A short while later, there's more crying, and the Mother goes to investigate.

This time the sister is bawling and her brother says…

"Now she knows."
