At the last Roost meeting, the new of Officers and Board were sworn in.  Next meeting is March 14th at OC  360 at 7:30.

I will be picking up materials this week at the Council meeting in Baltimore for the Convention which is scheduled May 30 - June 2 at the Castle In the Sand.  Jo Ann Elder is the Chair of the Convention Committee and Susan Berterman is the Chair of the Convention Parade which is scheduled for Saturday, June 1.  Look for more information on the Convention and the Parade shortly.

The Golf Scholarship Committee will meet February 13 at the Original Greene Turtle at 5:30.  Come join us to see how you can help in this worthy cause of raising money for college scholarships for graduating seniors at Stephen Decatur High School, Indian River High School and Worcester Prep.  This will be our 22nd Annual Tournament.  The Tournament will be held on Friday, May 31st at the Ocean Pine Golf Course during the weekend of the Convention.  We have several new members on the Committee but we are always looking for more!  Come check it out, it’s a worthy cause that directly benefits our community.

Funny Poop
·         One night, a lady stumbled into the police station with a black eye.  She claimed she heard a noise in her back yard and went to investigate.  The next thing she knew, she was hit in the eye and knocked out cold.
An officer was sent to her house to investigate, and he returned 1-1/2 hours later with a black eye.  "Did you get hit by the same person?" his captain asked.
"No," he replied. "I stepped on the same rake."
