Weekly Poop 3/20/19

Roost #44 Poop
·         From the Prez
St. Paddy's Day Parade was a blast! If you couldn't make it, you really missed a good time.  The crowd was awesome!  Thanks to Susan and Frank and any other volunteers who helped make this year's parade one of the best.  Don't miss it!  It really helps you connect with other Roost members as well as letting all of Ocean City that see that Ravens Roost #44 is a part of the fabric of Ocean City!  Anybody got any photos to share?

The Golf Scholarship Committee will meet on Wednesday, March 27 at the Original Greene Turtle at 5:30.  Come join us to see how you can help in this worthy cause of raising money for college scholarships for graduating seniors at Stephen Decatur High School, Indian River High School and Worcester Prep.  This will be our 22nd Annual Tournament and it will be held on Friday, May 31st at the Ocean Pine Golf Course during the weekend of the Convention.  We have several new members on the Committee but we are always looking for more!  We will also need volunteers at the Golf Course to help manage the tournament.  Come to the next meeting and check it out!  It’s a worthy cause that directly benefits our community.  Information on our Tournament is available on our website www.ocravensroost44.com as well as the Council of Raven Roost website - www.councilrr.com.
Remember that your Roost Membership card entitles you to a 20% discount on food, beverage & apparel purchases at the Original Greene Turtle. We encourage Roost members and Roost Committees to patronize the Original Greene Turtle. By the way, the Original Greene Turtle is a major sponsor of our College Golf Scholarship Tournament every year and we appreciate their support.
My white Ford pickup truck will be at the next meeting.  The back will be open if you would like to donate plastic bags to Diakonia (local food bank and homeless shelter).  The bags are used to help distribute food contributions to the needy.  Simply put your plastic bags (TIED UP TIGHTLY) in the bed of the truck.  This is a great way to recycle plastic bags for a good cause.

·         Membership: Please mail your dues to: Susan Berterman, 32612 Falling Point Road, Dagsboro Delaware 19939.  Still only $30 per year.

It was brought to my attention that some members may not be aware that the annual dues are now due.  Per the By-Laws: “Each member shall pay to the Membership Chairman the sum of thirty dollars ($30.00) per year no later than the February meeting.  The only exception to this rule being a prospective member who would be accepted into the Roost from the first day of March where dues will be pro-rated.”  Hope this clears things up.

·         Parade – Thanks to all that participated in the St. Paddy parade.  The group looked great and I think everyone had a good time.
Six members still have their vests.  Please bring them to the next meeting so we can store them with the rest for the next time we need them.  Thanks!
The Convention Parade will be here before you know it – Saturday, June 1st.  We’d love to have a big turn out, so please save the date!

Funny Poop
·         A Russian is strolling down the street in Moscow and kicks a bottle laying in the street.  Suddenly out of the bottle comes a Genie.  The Russian is stunned, and the Genie says, "Hello master, I will grant you one wish, anything you want."
The Russian begins thinking, "Well, I really like drinking vodka."  Finally, the Russian says, "I wish to drink vodka whenever I want, so make me piss vodka."
The Genie grants him his wish.  When the Russian gets home, he gets a glass out of the cupboard and pisses in it.  He looks in the glass and it's clear.  Looks like vodka.  Then he smells the liquid.  Smells like vodka.  So, he takes a taste and it is the best vodka he has ever tasted.
The Russian yells to his wife, "Natasha, Natasha, come quickly!"  She comes running down the hall and the Russian takes another glass out of the cupboard and pisses into it.  He tells her to drink, it is vodka.  Natasha is reluctant but goes ahead and takes a sip.  It is the best vodka she has ever tasted.  The two drink and party all night.  The next night the Russian comes home from work and tells his wife to get two glasses out of the cupboard.  He proceeds to piss in the two glasses.  The result is the same, the vodka is excellent and the couple drink until the sun comes up.
Finally, Friday night comes, and the Russian comes home and tells his wife, "Natasha grab one glass from the cupboard and we will drink vodka.  "His wife gets the glass from the cupboard and sets it on the table.
The Russian begins to piss in the glass and when he fills it his wife asks him, "But Boris, why do we need only one glass?"  Boris raises the glass and says, "Because tonight, my love, you drink from the bottle."
