Roost #44 Poop
·
From the Prez –
Baltimore
Colt and NFL Legend Gino Marchetti passed away at the age of 93. Gino fought at the Battle of the Bulge. He was an NFL Hall of Famer and a true
gentleman. Gino played in 116
consecutive regular season games from 1956-1964 and was an All Pro each of
those nine years. You were a childhood
hero to countless Baltimore Colt fans who will never forget you! RIP Gino the Giant!
Don't
miss the next Roost meeting on May 9th at OC 360. We will discuss the future location of our
monthly meetings. OC 360 has changed the
conditions which we have been working under.
The House Committee has investigated some alternative locations and we
will be discussing these options as well as whether we should stay at OC 360. See you at the meeting!
Raven
Roost #44 and the Council of Raven Roosts were recognized for their donations
to Diakonia, the local food bank and homeless shelter in the Maryland Coast
Dispatch on 3/29 and OC Today 4/26.Remember that your Roost Membership card
entitles you to a 20% discount on food, beverage & apparel purchases at the
Original Greene Turtle. We encourage Roost members and Roost Committees to
patronize the Original Greene Turtle. By the way, the Original Greene Turtle is
a major sponsor of our College Golf Scholarship Tournament every year and we
appreciate their support.
My white
Ford pickup truck will be at the next meeting. The back will be open if you would like to
donate plastic bags to Diakonia (local food bank and homeless shelter). The bags are used to help distribute food
contributions to the needy. Simply put
your plastic bags (TIED UP TIGHTLY) in the bed of the truck. This is a great way to recycle plastic bags
for a good cause.

Big plans for the Convention Parade. Going to be a lot of fun. Thanks in advance to Debbie, Jo Ann, and the
gang for making it all possible.
·

For
those who have not signed up for the convention, I want you to know what you’re
missing! All of these activities are for
registered attendees, with the exception of volunteering for the set-up and
breakdown before and after the convention of the food tents, and parade
marshals on Saturday morning.
Miller
Lite Olympics: New this year. Thursday, May 30, 6:30 PM. 4 Teams; $5 per team to play, which goes to

A Blonde goes over to her friend's house wearing a
T.G.I.F. T-shirt.
'Why are you wearing a Thank God It's Friday tee-shirt on Monday?'
'Oh crap!' the blonde says. 'I didn't realize it was a religious T-shirt. I thought it meant Tits Go In Front'
