Greetings to all…Hope all who came out to last Saturday’s Roost picnic had a good time..we had about 53 members strong braving the heat..I again want to thank the volunteers who helped make this another great time for the Roost..Carol Munroe, Ellen and Jim Reid, Tony and Donna Chaplinski, Ron and Betty Apperson , Frank and Sue Berterman, Kim Eder, Dennis Faber, Ron Kolarik, Larry and Marie ..and I apologize if I forgot anyone..
Just a reminder that our next meeting will be held at the Ocean Pines new golf clubhouse..the date is August 12 th at 7:30…
Also the Ravens will start training camp on July 27/28..

o Shorebirds Game: Thursday, August 19. $30 per person, includes game ticket and food. $10 if you want to ride the bus.

o Road Trip: The trip is sold out.

With the new Game Season of 17 chances to win, several of the dates have changed:

o Tickets on sale NOW at the Roost meetings and Convention, as well as the website

o Sweepstakes run for 17 weeks – From September 2 thru December 26

o Last day to get game cards for the 17-week season à September 2

o Late ticket deadline à October 24 (not eligible to win for any prior weeks)

o We will have at least one guaranteed winner each week – It could be you!!!!

o Prizes are awarded each week to the highest 25 game cards that score the most points

§ First place - $400

§ Second Place - $200

§ Third place - $100

§ Next 22 Runner ups - $25

o Prizes are awarded each week for the lowest scoring 5 game cards

§ Lowest score - $50

§ Next 4 Runner ups - $25

o Grand Prize Season ending

§ Highest Valued Card of the Season - $1000

· Season Bus: Please let Bob know if you are interested in riding the season bus to the Ravens games. We need a head count. Cost would be around $70 per seat, per game.

· Good of the Roost: - Hey Ravens women, let's get together and meet for lunch at a local restaurant or picnic at a park. Some of our guys have been doing this pre pandemic for a while so I thought it'd be good for us women to get to know each other and to have a "girls day" out. Contact Donna at 410-627-7697. Each week, a general audience movie is presented free of charge on our 16 foot projector. Bring a beach chair, blanket & snacks and enjoy the night beside the ocean.
