Greetings to all…

Hope all is enjoying the great weather we’re having lately and getting ready for the summer..

Our annual picnic as a reminder will be Sunday July 17th @ the White Horse Park in Ocean Pines…times are 11:00-5:00.. we can always use volunteers to help set up at around 10:30..
We will have our July meeting at the picnic, but I’ll try to make it short.. lol
If anyone has a corn hole set to bring that would be great..

If you haven’t already done so, please sign up..costs are $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non members..

· Membership rosters have been updated and we have 115 paid members for 2022. Thanks again to all that have chosen to remain part of this great club.

· The on line store is closed and it will reopen July 1st. All orders that were placed in April will ship in May.

· We are still taking suggestions for 2022 activities and event ideas. Bring ideas to next roost meeting or email them to ksimseder@gmail.com. Anyone interested in helping on the committee please let me know. Kim

· Summer Picnic:

o WHEN: Sunday,July 17th

o WHERE: White Horse Park.

o TIME: 11:00-4:00 set up at 10:00 am.

o WHAT: hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, drinks, corn, tomatoes

o Picnic sign up sheet will be at the sign in table at this months meeting. (this Thursday)

o We will be collecting $10 per member $15 per non member.

o Check is preferred made out to Ravens Roost #44. We need volunteers for set up, clean up, help in buying ice, drinks, food, paper products etc… let me know if you are available to help.

Local Poop

·         Tonight - Free Movies on the Beach in Ocean City MD, OC Events. Enjoy free movies on the beach at 118th St. in Ocean City Maryland every Wednesday from June 2 to August 25. Each week, a general audience movie is presented free of charge on our 16 foot projector. Bring a beach chair, blanket & snacks and enjoy the night beside the ocean. Movie starts around 8:30 p.m. For more information, call 410-250-0125.

·         Sunday - Sundae's in the Park Independence Day Celebration - Northside Park. Ocean City's Sundae's in the Park Concert series will be celebrating Independence Day at Northside Park. Mike Hines & the Look will be performing live at 7 pm, followed by an intimate firework show at 9 pm. Come enjoy the show with your family and friends!
·         Monday - Hot Dog Eating Contest - Fish Tales. In the South parking lot of Fish Tales Bar and Grill, located on 22nd Street bayside in Ocean City, they will be hosting a hot dog eating contest starting at noon. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate. The winner will receive at least a $1,000 cash prize, a trophy, and bragging rights for the year. The first 20 people to pre-register will be in the competition. To register, please visit the Bahia Marina Tackle Shop or Fish Tales Small Bar. $10 registration fee is required to hold your spot. Participants must sign a waiver to compete.
·         Tuesday - Independence Day Downtown Celebration - Fireworks & Concert - Inlet Parking Lot. Independence Day Concert & Fireworks on the Beach in Downtown Ocean City at North Division Street. Free concert begins at 8:00 pm at the Caroline Street Stage, followed by fabulous fireworks at 9:30pm. ·         Tuesday - Independence Day Uptown Celebration - Fireworks & Concert - Northside Park. Independence Day Concert at Northside Park in North Ocean City.
