Greetings to all..

 

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday September 8th @ the American Legion in Ocean City..meeting will start at 7:30 so come early for food and drinks..a reminder the kitchen closes at 8:00..

 

The Roost will have a dry run opener at the American Legion on Sunday September 11th against the New York Jets @ 1:00..there will be an optional buffet at halftime and cash bar..the price for the buffet will be determined and will pass it on to members as soon as I know…this is open for family and friends..so let me know asap if you’re planning to come and approximately how many in your group..I need to give a head count to the Legion…

 

I have been getting favorable emails regarding watching the Ravens games this season at the American Legion..but PLEASE email me at rjm73054@gmail.com if you are interested in coming and your input…The afternoon away games so far have been the choice ..

·         Football Sweepstakes – Tickets on Sale!!!  Ravens Roost #44 2022 Fund Raiser!  We have sold 94 tickets thus far for this season.  We are below our number from last year where

we sold 128 tickets last year for a profit of $1,531.97.  Thank you to all who have supported us this season!  Remember we have a guaranteed $25 winner each week!

·         My name is Bobby Trosset and I am a YouTuber/content creator based in Baltimore, having recently left local radio (98 Rock/WBAL) to launch my own sports media company.

Local Poop

·         Sunday – Sundaes in the Park, Northside Park - Spend your Sunday evenings in picturesque Northside Park from 7 – 9 pm listening to your favorite live music.  This is a family concert series with pizzazz!  Enjoy free music ranging from country to rock, tribute bands to oldies.  Each week children are offered various free activities and entertainment.  The best thing about Sundaes in the Park is the ice cream, which is available for purchase!  Sit back, listen to music and watch the sun set over the beautiful Assawoman Bay.  Additional beverage options are available for purchase.  Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs.

·         So I was at a bar last night and saw this fat chick wearing a shirt that said, "Caution, I'm a maneater".  I walked up to the girl and timidly said, "Excuse me, Miss...about your shirt."

She interrupted me before I could continue and furiously shouted, "Oh let me guess, you're here to make a comment about how I'm so fat and how I actually eat men.  I can't help my weight you know.  I have feelings too and your comments can really hurt."

 

I looked at her, confused and said, "That's actually not what I was going to say at all."

 

"Oh…" she replied as a smile started to come across her face. "What were you going to say?"

 

"That's not how you spell manatee."
