Pick Analysis: Ozzie Newsome is masterful at adding quality players at the bottom of the first round, and Smith could join a long list of productive playmakers found at the end of the first stanza. He is regarded as possibly the best cover corner in the draft with skills reminiscent of former Pro Bowl selection Chris McAllister. Blonde Joke of the Day

A blonde goes into a restaurant and notices there's a "peel and win" sticker on her coffee cup. So she's peels it off and starts screaming,

"I've won a motor home! I've won a motor home!" The waitress says, "That's impossible. The biggest prize is a free lunch."

But the blonde keeps screaming, "I've won a motor home! I've won a motor home!"

Finally, the manager comes over and says, "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. You couldn't possibly have won a motor home because we didn't have that as a prize!"

The blonde says, "No it's not a mistake. I've won a motor home!" She hands the ticket to the manager and he reads...

·         Dates to Remember:
·        Friday – Water Conservation Meeting @ Harpoon Hanna’s Tiki Bar Opening Party!
·        Thursday, June 2 – Convention Weekend begins!  This is the Council’s largest fundraiser so be sure to sign up for what is always a great event.  From Jo Ann: “Members may still register but will not receive the souvenir package.  Please mail to me at 126 Pine Tree Rd., Ocean City, MD, 21842.  If you have any questions, please call me at 410-250-5124 or 410-251-4360 any time.  I will have more information of the special events--karaoke, miniature golf, scavenger hunt, bingo, etc.--at the next meeting, along with signup sheets.  The Council usually requests help with staffing the food tent and other incidental events.  Hopefully, I'll have more on that month as well.

This is a great time to meet other Roost members, as well as spending time with our own Roost members.  There's always plenty of beer and food available.  The price of $55 is very reasonable when you consider all the benefits.

You must be registered for the convention to participate in the events.  Each person attending must have proper credentials, so spouses must be registered as well.  There can't be any "sharing" this year.  This includes admittance to our hospitality room.  This is the Council's rule--not Ravens Roost 44.

Thanks.  Jo Ann Elder”

Registration forms and schedule can be found here.
