·        Saturday, March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  From Jo Ann: “The St. Pat's Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 17th, beginning at noon.  We need people!  We're going to wear t-shirts that have "2011--Ravens Sweep Stealers" on them and will carry brooms and dustpans.  And please learn the words to the Ravens song.  I hope to ask Frank to play that every 5th or 6th song.  I need to get a count to order the shirts.  Please call or e-mail me, with your shirt size. The more people we have, the better we look.  Jo Ann.”

·        Good news notes and nuggets from Sarah Ellison’s Blog here.  It’s getting to the point where I can hardly stand ESPN, but I do go Jamison Hensley’s Blog here to stay up to date with all of the AFC North news.

Funny Poop
·        The pastor asked if anyone in the congregation would like to express praise for answered prayers.  Suzie Smith stood and walked to the podium.

She said, "I have a praise.  Two months ago, my husband, Tim, had a terrible bicycle wreck and his scrotum was completely crushed.  The pain was excruciating and the doctors didn't know if they could help him."

You could hear a muffled gasp from the men in the congregation as they imagined the pain that poor Tim must have experienced.

"Tim was unable to hold me or the children," she went on, "and every move caused him terrible pain."  “We prayed as the doctors performed a delicate operation, and it turned out they were able to piece together the crushed remnants of Tim's scrotum, and wrap wire around it to hold it in place."

Again, the men in the congregation cringed and squirmed uncomfortably as they imagined the horrible surgery Performed on Tim.

"Now," she announced in a quivering voice, "thank the Lord, Tim is out of the hospital and the doctors say that with time, his scrotum should recover completely."

All the men sighed with unified relief.  The pastor rose and tentatively asked if anyone else had something to say.

A man stood up and walked slowly to the podium.

He said, "I'm Tim Smith." The entire congregation held its breath.

"I just want to tell my wife the word is sternum."

Baltimore Ravens, let’s go
And put that ball across the line
So fly with talons spread wide
Go in and strike with Ravens pride
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Ravens dark wings take flight
Dive in and show them your might
For Baltimore and Maryland
You will fly on to victory
