Our next meeting is June 13th at OC 360.  The July meeting will be held at our Picnic on July 14th.

·         Ticket Exchange:
o    Nick Costa (non-Ravens Roost 44 member) is selling his Ravens’ PSLs and season tickets.  Nick’s phone is 410-428-0131.
·         Excursions: Now that the schedule is out, which away game would you like to see the Roost go to as a group?  Think about it and be ready to talk about it at the next meeting.

§  Thursday, July 25 - Our annual Shorebirds event for $28 pp including:
·         Game ticket behind home plate with table/chair seating in Hardball Cafe section.
·         2-hour buffet w/popcorn, hot dogs, burgers, barbecue chicken legs, sides, soda, tea.
·         Orange Visor giveaway promo
·         Thirsty Thursday $2 ML/CL 16oz. cans
·         Optional Bus transportation - additional $$ depends on no. of riders (availability confirmed)
·         Open to friends & family
·         Signup sheet at meeting:  We now have 41 people signed up and a deposit has been sent to reserve our spot.  We will keep taking additional people until the June 13th meeting.  So far, 24 have indicated they are riding the bus - we need more riders to bring the cost down.  The deadline for signing up and paying for the game tickets is the June meeting..  Sign up/pay Ron at 302-436-4790 or ronapperson@msn.com.

Local Poop
·         Tonight - Free Movie on the Beach - Carousel Hotel.  Enjoy free movies on the beach in Ocean City Maryland every Wednesday from June 5 to August 28, 2019 at the Carousel Hotel on 117th St. in Ocean City MD.  Each week, a general audience movie is presented free of charge on our 16 foot projector.  Bring a beach chair, blanket & snacks and enjoy the night beside the ocean.  Movie starts at dusk (roughly 8:30pm).  For more information, call 800-626-2326 or 410-250-0125.

·         Saturday & Sunday - Ocean City Air Show with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels - Celebrating Our 12th Anniversary, On the Beach & Boardwalk; Show Center is 16th St.  Celebrating it's 12th Anniversary, the OC Air Show returns to Ocean City in 2019 headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels!  A Blue Angels performance exhibits the flying skills that all naval aviators possess.  The team’s C-130, also known as Fat Albert, begins each demonstration.  Fat Albert’s 10 minutes performance showcases the aircraft’s maximum-performance capabilities.  Following Fat Albert’s performance, the team’s six F/A-18 Hornet’s soar overhead.  The Blue Angel delta formation enters from behind the crowd and announce themselves with the “sound of freedom!”  The Blue Angel performance showcases the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-jet diamond formation together with the fast-paced, and high-performance maneuvers of two Solo pilots.  Finally, the conclusion of the performance brings together all six F-18s when the solos join the diamond and perform in the six-jet Delta formation.  The wing tips of the Blue Angel jets are less than 3 feet apart in the diamond and delta formations.
Interactive simulators, exhibits and displays will be located on the streets of the boardwalk near Show Center and Inlet Parking Lot.

·         Saturday (morning) - Zoo in My Room, The Freeman Stage at Bayside.  Check out "Zoo in my Room" puppet musical that tells a story of retired zookeeper Farmer Stu and his animal family that is grown through adoption.  This one-of-a-kind show features a large barn set that comes alive with amazing animal puppets who talk, joke and sing.  This is a bring your own chair event.  Children age 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
·         Saturday - The Tamburitzans, The Freeman Stage at Bayside.  Celebrating their 82nd season, the Tamburitzans contain a variety of musicians, dancers and singers dedicated to perpetuating international cultural heritage through entertaining performance while awarding scholarships to those talented and deserving students attending a Pittsburgh-based school.
·         Sunday - Sundaes in the Park in Ocean City MD, Northside Park.  Sundaes in the Park is the perfect way to wrap up the weekend in Ocean City MD. Bring the family to Northside Park in North Ocean City each Sunday evening in the summer for free live concert, family fun activities, and delicious ice cream sundaes.  Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs and watch the Ocean City sunset over the bay while enjoying live music for every taste, from country to rock and tribute bands to oldies.  During the concert, enjoy ice cream and family activities for the kids.  The night ends with a fireworks display at approximately 9pm.

·         Sunday - OC Cruzers Car Display - Somerset Street Plaza - Somerset Plaza between the Boardwalk and Baltimore Ave.  Are you a fan of classic cars and live music?  If you answered yes to this question, The OC Cruzers Car Display is the perfect event for you!  Enjoy viewing classic cars while listening to live music in Ocean City Maryland.  OC Cruzers will display approximately 15 vehicles along Somerset Street Plaza.  The owners of the vehicles will supervise and educate spectators about their older cars.  Live music or DJ will be provided.  Select Sundays 3pm to 6pm.  For more information, call 410-289-7739 or visit www.ocdc.org.
