Tonight - The
War and Treaty, by
The Freeman Stage. BYOC- Bring
Your Own Chair, With support from Bryan Russo! As The War and Treaty, Michael and
Tanya serve up healing and pain robbing with freewheeling joy on a monumental
new full-length album, Healing Tide. An
original tour-de-force produced by Buddy Miller, the collection swaggers with a
confidence only gained by artists who are wholly, proudly, themselves. Funky bass lines, keys, lap steel, acoustic
strings, and stripped-down percussion create a swampy Southern soul bed for the
couple’s transcendent vocals. “I hope
people see our hearts on this record,” Michael says. “I want them to experience freedom. To feel
again.” For more information, please

Sunday - St.
Paul & the Broken Bones with Yola, by
The Freeman Stage. This event
is a Bring Your Own Chair (BYOC) performance.
Tickets are required for all patrons, including infants and toddlers. Blood is thicker than water, and it
can leave scars. But like it or not,
those in our bloodlines are stuck with us — and us with them — for better or
for worse. Paul Janeway understands this
conundrum of heritage well. The singer
of the Birmingham, Alabama–based rock and roll soul band St. Paul & The
Broken Bones was born and raised in America’s Deep South, a place where social
consciousness can still take a backseat to unsavory traditions and where a
family’s expectations sometimes supersede all else. Despite the fierce familial love, he enjoyed
and constantly gave back while growing up — especially to his father and
grandfather — from an early age Janeway realized that the way he thought about
the world was a little different from those around him, and he began to seek an
outlet from which to share what was in his heart and on his mind. Blessed with a powerful voice, a magnetism for
connecting with people, and a gift for making music, he traded in a career in
ministry to start his own band. For

the major music influencers of our generation. He’s created an enormous body of genre-bending

numerous collaborative records. His last
album was a blend of pop songs and his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra that
soared to No. 1 on both the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts.
For over a decade he’s performed with
some of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras, and in 2017 was named as the
first ever Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy
