·         June Presidents Message:
Hope everyone was able to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend and took advantage of the great weather.  Although Memorial Day is a day to honor those who have
served in the past, lets also keep the men and women who are currently serving in our thoughts and prayers throughout the rest of the year.

The Convention will have passed by the time you get this but we will have a report on the activities at our June meeting.  At this point it is looking like it will be a great time with at least one appearance by current Ravens Players and coaches at the Convention site.  Although in the past, RR44 has always won a prize with our entry in the Convention parade, we did not have enough interest from the members this year to participate.  This is unfortunate and I hope that next year we will have more interest.

The next event to look forward to is the July PicNic.  The date is Sunday 7/15 at the Ocean Pines White Horse Park pavilion.  Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guests (1 only please) with a chance to win a 50/50.  Food includes Premium Burgers, Franks, & Brats with all the fixings, Frank’s famous Jerk Chicken, various Salads, Cake and Watermelon.  Sign up at the June meeting!

If you pre-ordered one of the new RR44 Jersey’s, please bring a check made out to Ravens Roost 44 to the next meeting.  Maggie is also still taking orders for the new RR44 logo shirts and additional Jersey’s.

As I mentioned at the last meeting, several of the standing committees need volunteers to help with their various activities.  If you have the time, please consider lending a hand.  One of our newer members, Cindy Brought has agreed to take over the “Sick Committee”.  If you or another member is ill, in the hospital or recovering from an operation, please call Cindy @ 302-245-5673.  I also want to thank Marian for all of her past efforts over many years as head of this committee.

This is our first attempt at sending this as an E-Message.  Let us know how you like this compared to the snail-mail version.

Go Ravens!!

Funny Poop
·         Q. Why is it so hard for women to find men that are sensitive, caring, and good-looking?
A. Because those men already have boyfriends.
·         Three lunatics approach their Asylum doctor with a request for a weekend pass to the local city.  "That's impossible says the doctor.  You're all nuts.  You'll get lost and never come back."  But the lunatics wouldn't relent until finally, exasperated, the doctor says "OK!  If you can answer a simple question I'll sign the pass."  He turns to the first lunatic and says "What's three times three?"  The lunatic starts counting on his fingers "3, 7, 19, 38?.  Is it 128?"  The doctor shakes his head and turns to the next lunatic: "What's three times three?"  The lunatic immediately shouts "WEDNESDAY!"  The doctor, beginning to get disgusted turns to the last lunatic: "What's three times three?"  The lunatic thinks for a moment and then asks for a pencil and a piece of paper.  That provided, she writes for some time furiously, and finally looks up and says "Nine."  The doctor is amazed, but true to his word he begins filling out the pass.  As he's writing he says "This is incredible; you've always been thoroughly insane.  How'd you do it?"  The lunatic responds, "Oh, it was easy; I divided 128 by Wednesday!"
