Category 6 Catches Up with Duane Starks.

There’s no disputing the indelible mark Miami Hurricane football players have had on the Baltimore Raven franchise. Ed Reed and Ray Lewis are sure-fire hall of fame inductees who came to the Ravens from the U. This year, rookie WR Tommy Streeter hopes to continue the tradition. But perhaps the first to establish the pipeline between Coral Gables and Baltimore was the very underrated Duane Starks. Starks was drafted by the Ravens 10th overall in the 1998 NFL Draft. Starks would quickly establish himself as one of the better corners in the NFL. He led the Super Bowl Champion Ravens with 6 INT in 2000-01, establishing himself as a key component on arguably the best defense in NFL history.
